Good Luck, Father Ted

From the moment that Dougal, his face covered in shaving foam, enters the living room and disturbs Ted as he tries in vain to schedule the week's Masses with an aggressively reluctant Fr Jack, you just know that this is going to be funny. I don't know why, but you just do. It could be the fact that Ted tells Dougal that he's got some shaving cream on his face, initially as if he's just got a small splodge of it, before eventually telling him, 'no Dougal, it's all over you face', to which Dougal replies, 'I don't know how that got there, I didn't even shave this morning.' Now do you understand?
