The Black Adder pilot episode resurfaces
On the face of it, this is an unimportant piece of TV trivia - extremely unimportant to be brutally honest. Unless it's to show that they so nearly got this so very very wrong. Tony Robinson is Baldrick, Brian Blessed is Richard IV - you know where I'm coming from. So, from that point of view it really is very important as a piece of archive which helps to show the development from an idea, through to the full televised production that we all know and love.

Did you know Blackadder had a pilot episode? Me neither, but it's just surfaced on YouTube and now you, too, can see it. You might notice one or two casting changes, including a different Baldrick (Philip Fox), a different Harry (Robert Bathurst), a different King (John Savident) and the fact it seems a whole lot more like Blackadder II than The Black Adder. Interesting, no?
