Brent keeps up his pretence that there will be no redundancies at the Slough branch of Wernham Hogg. But who is he kidding? In the meantime, he introduces a new employee to the workforce. Donna is gorgeous, a real eye turner, and the daughter of friends of Brent's, so he is particularly nauseating around her. As he is demonstrating how to use email to her, he is introduced to a pornographic image of a woman with his head superimposed. Off he goes on one of his rants about how such an image is demeaning to women - whilst being secretly flattered, if a little pee'd off at the joke at his expense.

Next, Jennifer Taylor-Clarke is in to meet with David following their meeting from the first episode. She wants to know which measures he has put in place to make the Slough branch more efficient. Of course he has done no such thing - well save for 'sacking' a fictional warehouse employee, Julie Anderton.

They head off down to the warehouse, where of course Jennifer finds out that there was no employee by the name of Julie Anderton for David to sack. Things go from bad to worse for David as Gareth bursts in to their meeting to reveal who created the pornographic image of him. Step forward Tim.

Jennifer gives David one last chance to carry out his responsibilities as the branch manager. So they head out to confront Tim. Of course, Tim has done no such thing - and he reveals that it was Brent's good friend, ace salesman Chris Finch who created the image...
