Reeves and Mortimer are two northern types for whom making people laugh apparently comes easy. I can say hand on heart that there is nothing that they have done that I have not laughed like a drain at. Starting with the Channel 4 show, Vic Reeves Big Night Out, which was required student viewing, they have progressed via their first sketch show on the BBC, The Smell Of Reeves And Mortimer to the achingly hilarious Shooting Stars. Then of course they regaled us with another sketch show, Bang Bang, It's Reeves and Mortimer. The pair has also appeared in comedy dramas such as Catterick and the remake of sixties classic, Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased).
